Shipping and FAQs

Orders are shipped via USPS during business hours from Monday to Friday. You will receive an email notification as soon as your parcel is on its way!

Please note that we are not responsible for lost and damaged items. Once they are dropped off, we are no longer responsible for the package. We will provide an email with tracking information, and you can expect your parcel to arrive in the window of time noted. Any delays with USPS due to weather, holidays, or other circumstances are out of our control.

Please note that we are not responsible for any charges upon delivery due to forwarding addresses.

Cancellations

We process orders quickly, within 12 hours, so please email us ASAP at contact@theopenroadshop.com if you decide to cancel your order. Include your receipt or Order # in the subject line of the email, so that we can process the cancellation. Sending an email does not automatically cancel your order - you will hear from us! Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled.

When will my order arrive?

Please see the following shipping rates if you are located in the US:

Standard: allow 5-7 business days $6

Rush: allow 2-5 business days $15

Express: next business day $25

International orders can take 1-3 weeks to arrive. Please note that delivery times are only estimates. We are not responsible for shipping delays by the postal service.

Can I track my order?

Yes, you'll receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Please note that it can take a few business days for USPS to update the tracking information on their website.

How will my order arrive?

The children’s clothing are beautifully wrapped in delicate paper tissue, tied with ribbon and placed in shipping material sourced in the USA. If you're sending items as a gift, we can include a little note. When viewing your cart, you'll see a text box that says Special instructions for seller where you can include the gift note. Receipts are not included in shipments.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! Please note that shipping is not free on international orders and will vary, but is generally about USD$20.

Also, we are not responsible for any applicable customs, import duties and taxes outside of the USA. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged customs duty or taxes. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Please be aware of this before placing an order.

Cancellations

How do I cancel an order?

Please send an email to contact@theopenroadshop.com, with the subject line: Cancel Order # (insert order number). Please note that sending an email does not automatically cancel your order! You will receive an acknowledgement via email from us. If your order hasn’t been processed yet, we will walk you through the cancellation process. If your order has already shipped, you will need to ship the package back to us for a refund. Please see the Refund policy for details.

Payment and Billing

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

My credit card payment failed. What can I do?

Please double-check your credit card number, billing address, zip code, expiration date, and CVV. If all is correct and it still fails, email us at contact@theopenroadshop.com.

Customer Care

How can I create an account?

We highly recommend setting up an account! You can create one from the sidebar, or during the checkout process. When you create an account, you will be able to easily track your orders, view your order history, and store payment information for faster checkout.

The item I want is out of stock. Will it be available again?

Unfortunately, these items are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces and are not available when out of stock. To ensure you get the item you desire, hurry soon to place your order today!

What are your items made of?

Our items are made of cotton or cotton-blend fabric.

How should I care for my items?

For cotton and cotton blend dresses: hand wash cold and air dry, or machine wash delicate cycle on cold and tumble dry low.
